Doris new bed

While I was working hard at the office, Doris was hardly working. She suddenly came down with a fever and needed to get to bed. Fortunately we drink a lot of milk at the office so after a bit of creativity, scissors and fabrics, Doris got a brand new bed at the office. Brilliant!

Do you have a friend in need of a bed? Take an empty milk carton (or yoghurt carton or similar), wash it and dry it. Cut it in half. You can ask a parent to help you cut, scissors are sharp tools so handle with care. If you have some fabrics lying around cut a big enough piece for matress and another for blanket. If you don't have fabric, paper towel is good enough. Or if you have clothes ready for the bin you can cut of a bit of fabric before you through the garment out of the door. Have you good ideas of what to make out of milk cartons? I would love to hear them. Please e-mail me or write a comment.

Have a happy weekend!

Big photo shoot

This weekend we had a smashing big photo session. Lots of kids running around in colorful clothes. It's for the spring/summer catalogue and I'm gonna be in it a lot. So happy! The theme is still a secret so I wont tell... but let me just say: I'm getting a new car!

Our photographer, Pia, spent all day down on the floor while Lipfish-Jenny got all the details right.

After the Lipfish-shoot I tried to get in the picture when Bombadill had their pillows and cookies photographed. And look, I made it!

Fashion forward

This is Majken on her way to a flea market near Falun, Dalarna in Sweden. Doesn't she look lovely in a head to toe froggy outfit?! My heart just melts.

We do love to get pictures from all around the world so put on your best Lipfish clothes and send us a pic if you want to. :)

I travel with style

Who on earth said Dinosaurs were extinct?

To create your own colorful Dino you need a spray paint in a color you like (you might need to spray on a primer first to get the color to stick better) and a toy - no, seriously, not a real! - dinosaur. They can easily be spotted at flea markets or you might even have one in your basement? Start digging and spraying.
