Yippiii!

Finally we have recieved the first shipment of spring/summer clothes. Since two weeks they have been available in Benelux, but now we will start deliveries to all other places :-)

Boxes everywere today. Still waiting for the new garments, but we unpack nice blankets in the meantime.

Annual visit to Belgium

In December I usually go on a trip to Belgium. First of all to meet with my business partner Manchild, that provides the BeNeLux market with LipFish...and second to buy lots of chocolate of course.
This time I met another supernice person too - Marleen. She is one of the administrators for the biggest facebook group for LipFish fans in Belgium. I am soooo flatered that more than 800 people has a group just because they like LipFish so much.

Traditional Swedish baking

Hello dear friends!

In December in Sweden we have a tradition to make "lussebullar". It is sweet buns spiced with saffron and stuffed with a few raisins. I like them a lot. Usually we eat them at the same time as we eat gingerbread cookies and drink "glögg" which is warm spiced wine.  Aren't we just crazy?

Big in Belgium

Another media clip that feels wonderful. It is the actress Patsy Van Der Meeren, famous from belgian TV, that is showing off me, and her cute baby, in a magazine.

But you know, fame isn't that important to me. Everyone is equally important.

Janne celebrates Easter

Sometimes when I am travelling I start to feel lonely. That is why I always try to make new friends. I met my newest friend this Easter. He was very quiet and didn't talk much. But I am very good at talking. So I talked enough for the entire Easter party. Here I am with my silent buddy, who I decided to call Eggbert.

Our food traditions in Sweden on Easter is kind of funny. Children get paper eggs filled with candy. (I got one too. Loved it!) Grown ups eat a fish we call "sill". (In english "herring".) Small pieces of grey fish that has been in some kind of sauce to get a sweet and sour taste. (I got some of that too. Did NOT love it. Definitely not frog food.)

This is me climbing in the birch branches we call "påskris". (Easter branches.) As you can see they are nicely decorated with colourful feathers. Much nicer to climb around in than the christmas tree. So if I should compare Easter to Christmas it will be 1-0 to Easter. Better climbing and more candy.
